The real cost

Paper timesheets aren't free. They just don't send you an invoice.

Rounded-up hours

Nobody writes down 8:57. They write 8:45. A few minutes each way, each shift, across a handful of casuals, adds up to real wages for time nobody worked.

Clocking each other in

A card, a fob or a PIN can be handed to a mate. A face can't. This is the single thing biometrics fix that nothing else does.

Your Monday night

Deciphering handwriting, adding up hours, retyping it all into MYOB. Every fortnight, forever, for free.

A tablet on the counter fixes all three, and the app that runs it costs you once.

Under 5 minutes. No IT.

Download it, prop it on the counter, working.

01

Buy the app

Pay once, get your activation code by email straight away.

02

Install it

Load it onto any modern Android tablet with a clear front-facing camera, enter your code, done.

03

Add your staff

Take a photo of each person, once. From then on they walk up, the tablet recognises them, and they're clocked in.

On the counter

Big buttons. Friendly faces. No training.

Staff walk up, press clock in, their face is scanned, they're clocked in. One tap. Everyone can use it — the 17-year-old on Saturdays, even that guy that brings the daily newspaper to work can use it.

  • One-tap clock in and out
  • See at a glance who's currently on shift
  • Break tracking built in
  • Timesheet export ready for payroll

Your staff's data

The faces stay on the tablet.

Recognition is designed to happen on the device itself. Staff photos and face data are stored locally on your tablet rather than uploaded to a cloud service we control.

On-device matching

The app is designed to recognise staff on the tablet itself — no cloud face database sitting on our servers.

You own the data

Staff photos live on your tablet. Delete a staff member and their face data goes with them.

Straightforward to remove

No third-party account for anyone to breach, because there's no server holding a copy of your staff's biometrics.

Australian privacy law expects you to tell staff what you're collecting and why. If you'd like a hand with staff-facing wording, get in touch.

The price gap

Same job. A fraction of the price.

Biometric terminals and subscription apps solve the same problem — for more money, every month, forever.

"What happens in three years?"

Fair question to ask anyone selling software without a subscription.

The app runs on your tablet, not on our servers, so it isn't waiting for a licence check to phone home before it lets your staff clock in. We're committed to keeping it working on modern Android tablets with bug fixes and compatibility updates, delivered free.

If you replace the tablet, the app loads onto any modern Android tablet with a decent front-facing camera — your licence comes with you.

"I run a service business. I was paying $60 a month, forever, so my staff could write down hours that were rounded up anyway. So I built the thing I actually wanted: an app on a tablet I already had that knows who walked in, and no bill at the end of the month."
Nat · Founder, Clock In Now

Built for businesses with a counter and casuals.

Cafés & hospitality

High staff turnover, split shifts, and the most rounding-up of anywhere.

Retail

Know who opened, who closed, and who was actually on the floor.

Workshops & yards

One tablet at the door of the shed. Built for a fixed site, not a mobile crew.

See all FAQs
Is there really no subscription?+

None. You pay once. We don't keep your card on file and there's nothing to cancel.

Where is my staff's face data stored?+

Face recognition is designed to run on the tablet itself, so staff photos and face data stay on the device rather than in a cloud account we control. Delete a staff member and their data goes with them.

How does the data get to payroll?+

You get an easy-to-read, accurate spreadsheet that takes a couple of minutes to input into Xero, MYOB or your accounting software of choice.

What if the internet drops?+

The app is designed to keep working through a wifi outage — recognition runs on the device rather than in the cloud.

More than one location?+

One licence per site. No per-location fee. Email us for bulk pricing on 3+.

Can staff clock in for each other?+

No. That's the point of using faces instead of cards or PINs.
